NEWS: GROWTH4BLUE Joins IPA ADRION Cluster No. 2 Blue Economy Innovation

GROWTH4BLUE – Generating Regional Opportunities for Workforce Transformation and High-tech Innovation in the Blue Economy of the Adriatic-Ionian Region has officially joined Cluster No. 2 – Blue Economy Innovation, established under the IPA ADRION Programme Capitalisation Framework.

The cluster brings together projects working on innovation, sustainability, and competitiveness within the blue economy, creating opportunities for cooperation, knowledge exchange, and the development of joint actions that maximize the impact of project results across the Adriatic-Ionian region.

Through its participation in Cluster No. 2, GROWTH4BLUE will collaborate with other IPA ADRION projects to identify common challenges, share innovative solutions, and promote policy recommendations addressing skills development, technological innovation, and workforce transformation in blue economy sectors. The cluster will also support the dissemination and uptake of project outcomes among public authorities, research institutions, businesses, and other stakeholders.

GROWTH4BLUE’s involvement in the cluster is fully aligned with its mission to strengthen innovation ecosystems and address emerging skills needs in strategic blue economy sectors. By working closely with complementary projects, GROWTH4BLUE will contribute to the creation of a stronger and more resilient blue economy, fostering sustainable growth and enhancing regional cooperation throughout the Adriatic-Ionian area.

Following its participation in the Programme’s Capitalisation Kick-off Meeting, GROWTH4BLUE will continue to contribute to the development of joint cluster activities during the IPA ADRION Capitalisation Event in Rimini on 24 June 2026. These engagements reinforce the project’s commitment to maximizing the impact of its results, fostering cooperation among Blue Economy initiatives, and supporting the transfer of innovative solutions and skills-development practices throughout the Adriatic-Ionian region.
