NEWS: 3rd GROWTH4BLUE Project Meeting in Slovenia – A strong partnership for Blue Economy
After the successful session coordinated by the Region of Western Greece in the framework of the Mediterranean Coast and Macro-Regional Strategies Week 2025, on September 17, in the city of Izola, Slovenia, the two-day 3rd Project Meeting of the project GROWTH4BLUE of the IPA ADRION Program followed, in Koper, with the active participation of all partners.

The meeting was organized and hosted by the project partner Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Primorska in Slovenia and coordinated by the Region of Western Greece, as the lead partner. The discussions focused on the progress of the project implementation, the contribution of the partners to the implementation of the actions, management and financial control issues, as well as communication and dissemination actions. development of the labor market analysis tool, developed by the University of the Peloponnese, as well as the pilot actions that will be implemented by each partner and will validate the effectiveness of technological innovation as it is developed in the framework of the project.

During the meeting, of particular importance was the opportunity for the participants to get to know examples of the Slovenian Blue Economy, through visits to landmarks such as the Piranske soline (Piranske Salt Lakes) and the Port of Koper, which are emblematic cases of study and show how sustainable development can be combined with innovation and economic activity.
