NEWS: GROWTH4BLUE Presented at the 10th EUSAIR Annual Forum

The GROWTH4BLUE project was officially presented during the 10th EUSAIR Annual Forum, held on 6-7 May 2025 in Georgioupolis, Crete, under the Session 2: Fostering Blue Economy sectors: Boosting circularity in
aquaculture, addressing skill gaps and enhancing waste management.

Mr. Mr. Fokion Zaimis, Deputy Governor of Achaia of the Region of Western Greece, Vice President of the CPMR Intermediterranean Commission and President of the CPMR Balkan and Black Sea Commission opened the event which was entitled Bridging Horizons: Strengthening Cooperation, Resilience and Cohesion in Adriatic -Ionian Region. 

Mrs. Sandra Peric, representative of the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro (project partner of GROWTH4BLUE), introduced the project focusing on strengthening transnational cooperation and harnessing the potential of the Blue Economy. GROWTH4BLUE was highlighted as a best practice in promoting innovation across the Adriatic–Ionian region.

The project’s participation in the Forum reinforced its visibility at European level, supported synergies with other EU initiatives, and affirmed its strategic relevance within the EUSAIR framework.
